jazzy

as ive practically gone out non stop since i came back, i thought it'd be nice to stay home the whole day. well, i was actually looking for people who were free, but realizing there weren't, i spent pretty much the whole day listening to music and surfing the net.

started off the day having breakfast while watching the michael buble dvd that my dad bought yesterday. its very good stuff, very entertaining performances and couple of the songs were very famous covers, like 'for once in my life,' 'how can you mend a broken heart' and others. big band like music with crooner voice, just awesome.

then went on to play the audio while i looked around for similar artists as well as checking out artists such as joss stone and lizz wright.

i think im finally getting to fix on the genre, call is neosoul or just soul. part jazz, part old R&B. d'angelo, maxwell, angie stone, jill scott, rachelle farrell, meshell ndegeocello, all those artists i havent heard in a long long time.

its been pretty good music experience for the past 2 days. very enriching. i have to try to get joss stone and lizz wright sometime soon. probably gotta check out jaime cullum and the other jazzfm CDs tt my dad bought while i was gone.
