change in schedule

i turned my timetable upside down.

in order to accomodate for the only intro to engineering class offered by the materials science and engineering department at 1505, i pushed my calculus 1 class to 0905. and i dropped psychology for good and took up international affairs at 0805, which means i will get used to waking up early in the morning. afterall, when i signed up for housing, i did mention i was an early riser.

its better, since most of my classes end at 2 or 3 this way. so now im taking 17 hours of classes per week, which is pushing for first semester freshman, but if i think about it, its actually quite light.

as discussed with sandesh, i think it is better to take calculus 1 again, since its gonna be a straight road to an A, since i know more or less everything, it'll be a good chance to consolidate my understanding of maths again. and GT 1000, health and intro engineering should be pretty easy too. so that means 4 of 7 classes have been taken care of. just really need to read for history and international affairs and participate a lot in english.

i read one chapter of history last night and it took quite long, about 2 hours. but contrary to my previous belief that it was boring, it was actually quite interesting, about the whole reconstruction of the south and all. i need to read another chapter, but i dont think i have the time to do that, its next period.

since i dropped psychology, i now have time to meet Dr. Simonds for japanese. i might need to go to waseda afterall for the minor.

went for laundry yesterday. im gonna do it once a week. instead of finishing in an hour, we took almost 2 hours. washing is ok, but it took a long time for the dryer to be effective. i had to go for 4 cycles, which meant a dollar. thats not much, but its still something. i intially intended for the post to be named 'rage against the washing machine' but my roommate laughed at it so hard and said i was probably too tired.

oh, i guess i will be joining delta sig afterall.
