International students

i went for my brother's high school's end of the year biffet or potluck or some sort for his ESL class yesterday. must say, it was pretty interesting to see people of so many countries come together and mix like a good ol family. its cool to think that the seniors, juniors, sophomore and the freshman kinda knew eachother, though not very well, but pretty much like a tight knit community. kinda reminded me of my own school days. so obviously it felt funny to see their graduating students come together and take a photo, since i was in that situation like 6 months ago.

so it was interesting to see ethiopians, argentinians, colombians, koreans and all. i think i didnt expect to see a lithuanian or somethin, but didnt really get to find out who that was. but the interesting thing was tt each student brought a food item from their native land, which was basically the whole point of this function.

i managed to play soccer after so long, with some of the people who played soccer, while the others played baseball. so it felt pretty gd.

i guess im happy for my mom coz we met a pakistani family who's living very nearby, now my mom would have more friends to talk to and spend time with here. the girls were pretty nice and all, so i guess we got along well.

would u guys believe this is pretty much the only socializing event ive had since i left singapore? amazing huh? but it was pretty nice event.

okay, i noticed ive been getting more US visits to this blog recently. im not sure how im linked or what, but i wish i knew who was viewing this page. probably random visits, as usual.
