Portugal vs England

just one word; amazing!

i thought portugal was done for, since it seemed impossible to penetrate the english defense, so you can imagine my delight when postiga equalized.

even before extra time, i hoped that it will go to penalty shoot out, since england's been traditionally bad at it, quite obvious from euro '96 and the '90 world cup.

but im happy, they've gone through. they will meet the winner of the tie between sweden and holland, and if they manage to brush things up, i really think they can make it to the finals.

keeping my fingers crossed. who knows, they might even nick the title.
