houllier, OUT!

hahahahahahaha....

the manager of liverpool, gerard houllier is finally sacked, something that's long overdue, if u ask me, after 6 years at the club. too bad liverpool didnt get rid of him sooner, liverpool actually can play with a very young and talented squad, but that old bastard wouldnt have it.

oh boy, that was a neat surprise in the morning for me, since i read the article where houllier claimed he wont be leaving the club.

now its gonna b interesting who will take over, coz under the right hands, they could b a serious force in the league. if ranieri is replaced, then he might get it, or would it be someone else?

i remember liverpool being managed by two managers, houllier and roy evans. could he be back? nah...

oh my, carlos queiroz is sacked too! (real madrid) woooo... it'll b a real slap in the face if he were to be appointed liverpool manager and do better than man utd...

but its gonna be an interesting development for the weeks to come.

somehow i cant shake the feeling that liverpool will continue to trail the shadow of its glory days of the 70s and the 80s. i dont think they can get back to that play. and i have a feeling man utd has started that process too, the declining process.

another surprise, as i anticipated, barcelona took over the second spot from real madrid. i saw it coming, and its a real shame.

its funny to see that man utd and real madrid, arguably the most widely supported clubs in the world, are third and fourth in their respective domestic leagues.
