alrite...
had chem prac today. prac r ok, but chem, if u ask me, is utterly unhealthy. i think chem students r gettin killed man. i think its already killin me. i dun mean in terms of content n procedures n all tt stuff, those r straightforward, but wat i mean r the chemicals n the gases involved. i used to like chem prac for O's. But ever since i started doin chem for A's, i always feel this pain in my chest after i do QA (for those non chem students, its called quantative analysis, testin for which ions r present, etc.) Esp these gases ammonia and chlorine. o sulphur dioxide time to time too. you sniff a tiny bit of tt, u start coughin, feel like chokin, ur world suddenly turnin against ya. haha, serious! the QA for today, we were told to heat a sample strongly, tt i did, i noticed a gas, so i smartly took the test tube closer n sniffed. (we're not advised to do tt, but hey, wth) next thing, well, it aint the first time, but everytime i smell ammonia or chlorine, it gets me. i wonder y i keep doin it even tho i know i dun like it. o well. yea, so overall, most of prac today went well, except for the last assessment prac, which i'm pretty sure most chem ppl had abs no clue wat was goin on other than to juz mix 5 solutions anyhow.
got damn maths tomorah. (a rap grp called tribe called quest used the word in one of their mv, tot it was original) i'm thinkin, i'm prepared, but when it gets hot in the exam hall, i know i'm fucked pretty much. its always like tt. u ask me stuff right now, well, i wont say im an expert, but i know wat i should know. but damn, i juz cant do it man. n it doesnt help when SA papers r already quite tough. prelims r supposed to kill us. god damn. kill me alrite. theres some comfort in the fact tt paper starts at 2 in the afternoon, so i still got morning to fine tune couple of my weak topics.
wat else...
sports today, sports? nothin much except tt Makelele claimin Chelski will b the next Real Madrid. Well, u better b right man, considerin u spent 110 million quid for a team. anythin less than tt is failure. tts understood, we dun need u to tell us tt. quite a number of players gettin injured n pullin outta internationals. cant say anythin bt tt. sometimes i think injuries n sports r exaggerated. but i guess they need to do tt since these r top top players, the tiniest thing matters i guess. afterall, they better b in tiptop condition all the time since theyre gettin paid so much to play well.
nothin else for today i guess...
"Gentlemen, good nite... Ladies... good morning..."
Justin Timberlake sang tt at the last part of 'Senorita'. Cheesy. Frankly, i hate the fella, but gotta admit, this particular song, i'm hooked to it.
'That's it!'
