billy corgan was here in naperville!

damn it...

billy corgan, the lead singer of the now split up but once very successful smashing pumpkins was here in my backyard! i mean not literally in my backyard, but he was in my brother's high school auditorium because the high school orchestra won a grammy, one of 41 in the country to do so, and one of the seven among the 41 to win a gold award.

and i only got to know it through the neighbourhood newsletter this morning.
