and the emergin team from tt tie will meet oneo of these teams; glasgow celtic vs villareal/bordeaux vs valencia.

its gonna b interesting if its newcastle vs celtic for all british finals.

but then again, i think improvement of the yr has to b the french teams. at this point, 2 french teams in the QFs of champs league and two more in QFs of UEFA.

Spain - 4 (2 in CL, 2 in UEFA)
France - 4 (2 in CL, 2 in UEFA)
England - 3 (2 in CL, 1 in UEFA)
Italy - 2 (1 in CL, 1 in UEFA)

okay, seriously, we usually wouldnt even expect 2 teams from France, but here they are. and surprise surprise, no German teams. Boy, what has happened to them.
